Fall Gala
On October 18th, 11 members of UNIS’ (In)visible Women NYC club had the honour of volunteering at the Dwelling Place's annual Fall Gala! The enthusiasm and dedication of club members was clear in the various responsibilities tasked to them, such as serving meals, assisting guests, and helping out with the raffle. Numerous new members who had not formerly interacted with the Dwelling Place were given the opportunity to meet the staff and residents of the Dwelling Place. Mia Bouillonnec (grade 10), who joined the club this year, learned “how the Dwelling Place not only provides a home for its residents, but also helps them get jobs in order for them to get back on their feet.” The (In)visible Women NYC club had the privilege of working with the Dwelling Place at its annual Fall Gala, and is very excited to continue collaborating with the amazing staff and residents!
